Information for Faculty
The William A. Blakley Library offers a range of services to meet the teaching, research,
and community needs of the University of Dallas faculty. Outlined below are resources
offered to support faculty needs.
Databases and Subject Guides
Access online databases and subject guides. Off-campus access to most databases is
available with a current network account and password.
Full-Text Journals
Search more than 84,000 full-text journal holdings.
Interlibrary Loan
Request materials (including books, journal articles, dissertations, and a/v materials)
not owned by the University of Dallas Library. Access is restricted to current
University faculty, staff, and students.
Library Instruction
Reference Librarians are available for classroom teaching. Courses offered include
general search tips, database specific classes, locating library materials, library
tours, and other classes as requested. Please complete the form to schedule your
library instruction class.
Library Reserves
The library reserve collection is intended to give students easy access to supplemental
class readings. Books and other tangible readings are placed on reserve in the
library. Articles and other photocopies are placed in the online reserve collection.
The Library's reserve collection requires adherence to all federal copyright
regulations.
