Adult Continuing Education Programs

These courses are a comprehensive approach to lifelong, continuing adult education with respect to the Catholic faith.

 

Adult Faith Formation:

The School of Ministry provides Adult Faith Formation for the dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth.
This comprehensive program is offered for adults wanting to learn more about their faith. Classes meet at the University of Dallas campus in Irving from September-December and January-April.

After the New Testament:

“AFTER THE NEW TESTAMENT” is a non-credit course open to all adults, but may be of particular interest to graduates of the Catholic Biblical School and others with a background in Scripture, history or ministry.

Catholic Biblical School:

The Catholic Biblical School is intended for adults who are willing to make a commitment to complete all course requirements for at least one year. No particular educational background is required. The program is recommended for those wishing to meet the Lord in a deeper way through scripture. It is especially beneficial for religious education teachers, lectors, and leaders of Bible study groups. The Biblical School program is offered in English and Spanish. The course is also offered on line in English.

Church Fathers and Councils:

"Church Fathers and Councils" is a non-credit course open to all adults, but may be of particular interest to graduates of the Catholic Biblical School, students who completed "After the New Testament" and others with a background in Scripture, history or ministry.

Diaconate Program:

School of Ministry provides the academic component of deacon formation for the Diocese of Dallas.
