What can I do on a Personalized Visit?
- Discuss UD admissions with an Admission Counselor
- Take a student-guided tour of the campus
- Attend actual UD classes in an area of interest
- Meet one-on-one with a faculty member in a chosen area of study
- Share a meal with a Student Ambassador in our dining facility
- Discuss Athletics with the UD coaching staff
- Meet with current students in a selected area of interest
- Have the opportunity to partake in the University's spiritual life
- Compete for one of theSpecial Award Program scholarships
(open only to high school seniors who have applied for admission and completed scholarship requirements)
- Sample residence hall life
- Gain a true sense about what UD is really like
Scheduling a Personalized Visit
Personal Visits are available weekdays year-round by appointment between the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM. Please allow two weeks for us to schedule your visit. You can schedule your visit by filling out our Personalized Visit Request Form. Overnight visits are offered during our regular academic year for high school seniors only, Sunday through Thursday. For additional information on overnight visits, click here.
If you need to visit in less than two weeks, please call 1-800-628-6999. Please be advised that visits scheduled with less than a two-week notice may not be able to take advantage of all of the opportunites noted above. When completing the form, you may request a day of the week and time for your visit.
The Office of Undergraduate Admission & Financial Aid closes at 1pm on Fridays from May-August. |
